Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to fourth grade! I am so excited to start a new year!
As you prepare for your child’s new school year please consider these items:
1. Colored pencils, crayons, notebooks, glue, scissors, rulers, pencils and pencil boxes will be provided.
2. Please do not bring pencil sharpeners, ink pens, gel pens, markers, or crayons.
3. Do not allow your child to bring items to school that can be lost, broken or cause problems in class, such as toys, games, valuable items, iPods, or cell phones.
4. Because of limited desk space, please do not send big binders to school.
5. Every student should have a backpack to put his or her homework assignments in. If you have trouble getting a backpack let me know.
6. Please encourage your child to review and memorize all the times tables 0-12 before school starts. (This should be a review from 3rd grade)
7. Please encourage your child to read at least 20 minutes each day during the remainder of the summer.
Back to School Open House will be on Wednesday, August 12 from 6 PM to 7:30 PM
6:00 P.M. – Classroom session
6:30 P.M. – PTO Session
7:00 P.M. – Classroom Session

Some parents like to have a list of items that they can donate to the class when they are able to. The items we most need and use in class are:
Tissues, hand sanitizer, #2 pencils, glue sticks
We can use these items anytime during the year and appreciate your donations throughout the year.
